What a great time we had at the Beeches on Sunday at the Bridal Faire! We spoke with hundreds of brides getting married in the next 2 years, and we got to show off our creative flower arrangements! We also connected with some amazing wedding vendors we hope to see again this summer, including a brand new venue in the Oneida area. I should have photos to post of our booth, but I haven’t gotten around to resizing them so it doesn’t take 20 minutes for them to open (I’ve been busy binge-watching The X-Files and un-knitting a project I screwed up 6 inches ago.) They are all up on Facebook though, so be sure to click the little icon at the bottom of the page to take a peek.
There is definitely a color trend happening from what we can tell…the most popular color scheme by far was blue and purple! This is a wonderful combination, so soothing and pretty! We love to combine light blues and lavenders with pale pinks or the softest peaches and yellows. It feels so beachy and summery and romantic, and it works well with the rustic, burlap-and-lace look that is so popular now. Brighter, more vibrant shades of yellows, pinks and oranges look amazing with dark blue or purple gowns; the intense colors are very dramatic and seem to scream out for more modern arrangements in clear cube or cylinder vases.
If we spoke to you on Sunday, and you are interested in talking further about your wedding flowers, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Dates fill up quickly and we’d hate for you to miss out!
